gg_figment

gg_figment is a small team deathmatch style map for the game Counter Strike: Source. I got advice on various gameplay aspects from BlackFigment, so I named the map after him.

My idea for this map was two gg maps in one. The result is two simple gg levels stacked with ramps and such. Interestingly, BOTs usually go lower and real players usually go upper. The map has 72 spawns (36 for each team).

Originally intended for gungame, but turned out a bit too big for smaller gungame servers. It works quite well on larger GG/DM servers.

Installation

  1. Download the current version above
  2. Extract the BSP file from the .rar archive (how to do that)
  3. Copy the extracted gg_figment.bsp file to your cstrike\download\maps directory (Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\download\maps)
