Doodles File Renamer

Doodles File Renamer is a generic batch file renamer. With one extra feature; it can remember and store sets of 'file rename actions', so that you can perform the same renames on successive groups of files. Short Guide

These 'rename actions' include:
  • Replace: Find and replace a piece of text within the filename
  • Insert: Insert a piece of text into the filename
  • Delete: Delete an amount of characters from the filename

Why is it called Doodles File Renamer? Because theres a tonne of file renamers already out there, with every combination of name, so in an effort to have a unique title; Doodles File Renamer.

Installation

How to Install

  1. Download the current version above.
  2. Extract the file from the .rar archive (how to do that)
  3. Move the "DoodlesFileRenamer.exe" file to where you want to use it from. It's a 'portable' program, so it can be used from anywhere.
Note: The program will create a settings file with all the saved program data in the same folder as the DoodlesFileRenamer.exe file.

How to Uninstall

  1. Delete "DoodlesFileRenamer.exe" and the settings file; "settings.data".
